Finding a Sponsor a Confidence Boost

Eagan Funfest Ambassador Leah Hed Finds Friendly Connection at Green Mill

Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved Green Mill pizza. When I was thinking of a sponsor for the Eagan Funfest Ambassador program, Green Mill came to my mind first. I am so happy that I contacted Green Mill Regional Manager, Bill Keller, to help me with this. He is a very nice man with a sense of humor! We exchanged emails before we met in person at the restaurant. When I first met him, he told me that he was not easily persuaded. We talked about the program and how he and Green Mill could become involved. He was very interested in this opportunity, and especially happy about the Green Mill logo being on the back of my sash. I felt nervous because I had never had an interview/meeting before. After the meeting he told me that I did a great job and he was surprised that I, being young, was able to do the email research and the meeting work by myself. He treated us to lunch afterwards and he gave me a cool jacket with the Green Mill logo on it. He said that if he ever needed any help with Green Mill events and charity work, he would contact me. Later, he told me that I will be on a poster hanging inside the restaurant! I am really excited about that! I am so grateful that Green Mill is my sponsor for the Eagan Funfest Ambassador program and I am proud to represent Bill and the Green Mill at all my events. Signing off, Leah Hed, Eagan Funfest Ambassador 2015 - 2016
