Food Stamps Accepted At Eagan Market Fest

EAGAN, MN — Did you know that Eagan Market Fest accepts SNAP/EBT food assistance benefits? And when you use it, you can get up to $10 in Market Bucks, according to city officials. For every dollar you spend on SNAP-approved items using your EBT card, you'll get an extra dollar in Market Bucks (up to $10 per market, per day).

Here are the steps to use EBT-SNAP benefits at the Eagan Market Fest:

1. Go to the EBT information booth at the front entrance (under the big green tent).
2. Swipe your EBT card. For every dollar you spend on your EBT card, you'll get an extra dollar in Market Bucks (up to $10 per market, per day).
3. Use your EBT and Market Bucks to buy SNAP-eligible food from market vendors.

SNAP-approved items at Eagan Market Fest include:

• Fruits and vegetables
• Meat, eggs and dairy items
• Honey and maple products
• Jams, jellies, pickles, and sauces, including salsa and hummus
• Baked goods
• Seeds and plants that produce food
