Free Document Shredding at Advent UMC

Veteran's Shred It Truck will be at Advent UMC for our 5th annual Advent Cares Day, so start gathering what needs to be shredded. Your personal papers will be shredded while you are there.

As part of Advent Cares Day, Advent UMC in Eagan will have a free document-shredding event on Saturday, August 19, from 10am until noon. Personal shredding, no businesses. Two bags per person. It’s free, but donations to defray the cost are welcome.

Advent Cares Day started five years ago when our church was celebrating our 30 year anniversary. Instead of celebrating internally, we wanted to thank the community where we are located. So, with that in mind, we have over 100 of our church family going out into the community to do various jobs at local organizations. We’ll be doing various projects including washing windows, landscaping at schools, leading worship services at senior centers and packing meals at Feed My Starving Children. For the fifth year, Advent UMC is giving back to the community it calls home.
