Give To The Max Day Is Coming -- Nov. 13

For 24 hours on Nov. 13, thousands of Minnesota nonprofits will be asking for your support. Among them is local nonprofit, Cheerful Givers.

On Give to the Max Day, Thursday, November 13, thousands of Minnesota nonprofits will come together to raise millions of dollars in just 24 hours. And one of those participating organizations is local nonprofit, Cheerful Givers, which provides birthday gifts for less fortunate children in our community.

This year Cheerful Givers is receiving some matching funds from AAA, Joe & Maddie Mauer, Brian & Lisa Duensing, Michael & Claudia Cuddyer & Justin & Kristin Morneau which will double donations. And former Minnesota Twin and All Star Player, Michael Cuddyer will give a personalized mention on Twitter to anyone who donates $50 or more to Cheerful Givers.

Every hour an individual donor will be randomly chosen by GiveMN.org (who sponsors this fundraiser) to win a “Golden Ticket.” An additional $2,000 will be given to the charity that received the original donation. At the end of the day, GiveMN.org will randomly choose one donor and that charity will receive $20,000. So a donation of $20 or more could be multiplied by a thousand.
