Eagan, MN, July 1, 2013. Simon Says Give®, a 501(c)3 founded by a 8-year-old Eagan girl is conducting a Back-To-School backpack drive named “High Five for Supplies”. With the help of local businesses and children, the non-profit organization will collect backpacks and supplies for kids going back-to-school this fall. Express Employment Professionals franchisee, Jim Johnson, is the premier sponsor. Jim and his team have placed donation boxes within their client companies to support the drive. The Valspar Foundation has donated all of the color items that will be going into the backpacks.
High Five for Supplies will end on August 15, 2013. On August 16th and 17th the backpacks and supplies will be sorted at the Eagan Community Center and then distributed to the YMCA and Beacon Network of Minneapolis, the Minnesota Literacy Council and the Visitation Monastery of Minneapolis.
