Eagan Funfest Ambassador Megan Abagat Experiences Early Farm Life Volunteering at Holz Farm
Hello everyone, this is Eagan Funfest Ambassador Megan Abagat, and this is my second blog which I’ll be discussing about my volunteering for the Holz Farm! This event has to be one of my favorites, because of the family and friends that I meet, and of course spending my time outside in the beautiful weather. I got to spend time on greeting people, in little tractors, and also doing the laundry. Well, sort of doing the laundry, since I also got to help at the Pony Express. All of the ponies were so wonderful, and all of the children got a chance to ride them. Some of the children was able to rode on all three of them! There is also other activities I got to help with such as the little tractors and the laundry. So when I was on the duty for the little tractors, a lot of children wanted to go on, that it overflowed the place! But we luckily had everyone go on it. Then right next to the tractor there was a station for doing the laundry in the old fashioned way. I was suddenly wanted to act like a grandma doing her chores, so I put my glasses a little bit lower than usual and tried talking in my best granny voice. This memory has to be one of the most hilarious moments I ever had, and the ambassadors probably thinks so too. Also I want to say thank you for all the staff in the event that helped us and in general the whole event. They’re incredible nice and so fun to hang around with! Keep doing what you’re doing! I have so many things to say about this event, but those were my main ones. Everyone had did a amazing job to have a incredible fun event. From Megan Abagat your 2015-2016 Eagan Funfest Ambassador.
