Minnesota Connections Academy Students Volunteer at Feed My Starving Children
Online school offers in-person field trips and community experiences for its K-12 students and families.

Students from the K-12 online public school MTS Minnesota Connections Academy and their families recently volunteered at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan. The team helped packed 26,352 meals, which will feed 72 children in the Dominican for a year.
The school's field trips and community events offer students, who attend the tuition-free school from home, the chance to socialize with other students, family members and faculty. Nearly 2,000 students across the state are currently served by the school's full-time faculty members, which includes state-certified teachers, school guidance counselors, special education professionals, and administrative staff. “We're proud to offer families a high-quality education option that helps meet the needs of every child," says Melissa Gould, principal at Minnesota Connections Academy. Real-time, virtual information sessions are available. To RSVP and for a complete event schedule, visit www.MinnesotaConnectionsAcademy.com.
