Minnesota Vikings Have Lowest Vaccination Rate In NFL: Report
Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer recently said he is "frustrated" with the unvaccinated players on his team.
EAGAN, MN — The Minnesota Vikings lead the entire NFL when it comes to having the fewest players vaccinated against COVID-19, according to a report.
Just under 65 percent of the team is fully vaccinated, according to Washington Post sports reporter Nicki Jhabvala. At least 70 percent of the team has received at least one dose of the vaccine.
The NFL vaccination rate overall is 90 percent, Jhabvala notes.

The Washington Football Team has the second-lowest rate, with 84 percent of the team at least partially vaccinated.
Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said he is "frustrated" with unvaccinated players after a COVID exposure sidelined three of his quarterbacks, including starter Kirk Cousins.

After Vikings rookie quarterback Kellen Mond tested positive for COVID-19, Cousins and Nate Stanley were deemed "high-risk close contacts," ESPN reported. They must quarantine for five days.
The "high-risk close contact" designation means that player is not fully vaccinated, according to ESPN.
