Minnesota's First Beef Jerky Outlet Opens In Eagan

EAGAN, MN — A popular and growing beef jerky retailer is making its debut in Minnesota. On Thursday, Tennessee-based Beef Jerky Outlet will be opening its first store in the state in Eagan, at Twin Cities Premium Outlets (3965 Eagan Outlets Pkwy, Eagan, MN 55122).

Brent Schafer and his wife, Robin Schafer, are co-owners of the franchise.

They told the Minneapolis Saint Paul Business Journal they plan to expand to at least one more mall in the Twin Cities area, possibly the Mall of America.

Monday to Saturday

• 10 a.m.–9 p.m.

Sunday

• 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

About the Beef Jerky Outlet

The Beef Jerky Outlet was founded in 2010 and is the country’s first national jerky franchise. The company is headquartered in Kodak, Tennessee and there are currently 80 franchise locations, including six founder-owned stores.

Over the next 12 months, the company says this number will grow to more than 100 locations.

The Beef Jerky Outlet specializes in more than 200 varieties, sizes and flavors of premium jerky including exotic meats like kangaroo, alligator, venison and elk, as well as specialty flavors such as Moonshine and Cajun.
