The Non Profit Group, Moms & Neighbors, is having the 1st Annual 5K Scholarship Run/Walk on Sunday, May 31st, at 11am, at Highland Elementary in Apple Valley. We are so very excited about this opportunity to show district 196 tenacious teens that we care. This event was inspired by many local teens who are striving to make a better life for themselves despite difficult obstacles. We wanted to create a scholarship for these kids to support their good choices and help them continue on in their post-secondary education.
Join us in recognizing these amazing, tenacious teens!
Bring your strollers, bring your kids! This is intended to be a fun, community building event.
Registration deadline is May 11.
