'MyPillow' Owner Endorses Minnesota Republican

Mike Lindell, who's visited the White House and Mar-a-Lago since Donald Trump was elected president, has no issues with getting political.

EAGAN, MN — You probably know Mike Lindell from his famous "My Pillow" commercials. But the Minnesota business owner has been making waves in the political realm as well.

In 2016, Lindell publicly backed Donald Trump for president. His support has earned him trips to visit Trump at the White House and Mar-a-Lago.

Now, Lindell is endorsing another Republican, one who is running in one of the most competitive races for U.S. House this year.

"I support Jason Lewis in the Second Congressional District," Lindell said in a statement, released Friday.

"He has been an amazing Congressman for my employees for the last two years. And he supported the President in 2016, and he supports him now."

MyPillow' Gets 'F' Rating From Better Business Bureau

Lindell has praised the Republican tax cut plan, signed into law last December, saying it's helped his and other Minnesota businesses.

Lewis thanked Lindell for his endorsement. "Throughout my first-term in Congress, we’ve worked to advance tax reform and undo the burdensome regulations harming businesses like My Pillow," the congressman said.

Rep. Jason Lewis vs. Angie Craig

Lewis, who remains one of Trump's most steadfast supporters in Congress, is facing a progressive in Democrat Angie Craig. And Craig has a high-profile endorsement of her own.

Last week, actor Samual L. Jackson endorsed Craig in a funny ad involving kitty litter.

According to a New York Times poll, Craig leads Lewis in the race 51 percent to 39 percent, with a margin for error of five.
