Oak Cliff Drive had its first ever National Night Out event in 30 years! Despite the weather about 7 families and friends gathered at our home for chips and salsa and ice cream sundaes. Highlights included 2 members of the Eagan Police Department dropping off a ton of treats for the kids and adults. The kids especially liked being able to ride bikes on the street without traffic for a few hours. Hope to make it a bigger event next year and hope not to have hail and storms in 2014! Good times were had by all and I can say that I met some new neighbors which is always a GREAT thing!
