New 'Funfest Ambassadors' Look Forward to Representing Eagan

This is Emma Anderson checking in for the first time as an Eagan Funfest Ambassador.

My new crown sisters and I are going on our third week together and we have been having a blast! It seems crazy that it has already been three weeks since we nervously introduced ourselves and anxiously awaited our fishbowl question.

When my name was called to announce that I would represent my city as an ambassador I was overwhelmed with emotions. I was overjoyed and excited for the year to begin, while of course worried about tripping over my long dress on the way to be crowned.

After our coronation, it wasn't long before the festivities began as we soon went to Hopkins to attend their royal coronation and ball. The coronation was very memorable for me as well, because witnessing such an incredible and life changing moment in someone's life is truly special and I am so happy that attending coronations will be a regular occurrence in my year as an ambassador.

It was very fun to get to know other visiting royalty, especially in such a fun and upbeat environment- after all, what could be more fun than a dance party?! During the ball I danced with my fellow ambassadors and royalty from other cities and even represented my group in an intense game of musical chairs.

While I didn't make it very far into the game it was an experience that I will laugh about for a long time. Overall, my first few weeks as an Eagan Funfest ambassador have been nothing less than wonderful and I can't wait to continue my year. I’m so thankful for these opportunities, my new royal friends and of course my new sisters. I am honored to be signing off for the first time as a 2016-2017 Eagan Funfest Ambassador!
