New Brewpub Coming To Eagan Near Vikings HQ

EAGAN, MN — A new brewpub is moving into the neighborhood. Union 32 Craft House is schedule to open in June. The pub, which will offer self-pour taps, will be located at 2864 Highway 55, across the road from the future home of the Minnesota Vikings.

The name "Union 32 Craft House" originates from the fact that Minnesota was the 32nd state to join the Union on May 11, 1858.

The pub will also offer 32 local beers, the Pioneer Press reported:

Minnesota wines and spirits will also be part of the drink list.

Co-owner Dan Redpath said the self-pour beer concept is popular in cities such as Denver, Portland, San Diego and Chicago and the owners wanted to bring it to the Twin Cities. For those who don’t want to self-pour, however, there will be the option of ordering from the bar, but the drink selection will be more limited.
