Olivia Pierce, Dakota Hills Middle School 8th Grader, is Recipient of The Gold President's Volunteer Service Award
Olivia Pierce, DHMS 8th grader, earns President's Volunteer Service Award and is crowned with national title from natural pageant system.
Olivia Pierce, 15, daughter of Lonnie and Jane Pierce of Eagan, MN, was crowned Truly Unique Girls & Boys 2015 National Supreme Model at the National event held over President’s Day weekend at the Crown Plaza in Bloomington, MN and received the official crown, sash, and trophy. She also earned The Gold President’s Volunteer Service Award for completing 125 hours of community service during the past year. In addition, she received several medallions and trophies, and helped in making fleece tie blankets for senior citizens at the event.
Olivia Pierce is in the 8th grade at Dakota Hills Middle School. Some of her activities include PACER’s Run Walk and Roll Against Bullying, The Faces of Change - The Youth Advisory Board of PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, Cheerful Givers, Eagan’s Halloween Hodgepodge, MN Aids Walk, Tour de Cure, Purple Day Walk for Epilepsy, Operation Glass Slipper, and advocating through her own nonprofit Raise Your Crown Against Bullying. Truly Unique Girls & Boys is dedicated to the principles of family, friends, and community. Each year contestants create lifelong memories, make new friends, and participate in a community service project. All activities are age appropriate and family friendly. Events are offered in each state for girls of all ages and boys ages 12 and under. State winners then advance to the National event. Truly Unique Girls & Boys events are about gaining self confidence, public speaking skills, and having fun. The events are based on inner beauty, as well as poise and presentation.

Truly Unique Girls & Boys seeks to recognize the accomplishment of each contestant while encouraging them to set goals. Emphasis is placed on learning self confidence through positive reassurance, making new friends, and learning new skills. Truly Unique Girls & Boys also strives to remind everyone of the things that tend to get forgotten in today’s busy lives, like saying thank you and community service. At this year’s National event, 6 individuals earned The President’s Volunteer Service Award for hours of community service they participated in during the past year.
