Plans For Costco In Eagan Move Forward

EAGAN, MN — Costco is planning its ninth Twin Cities location for a vacant office property in Eagan. On Aug. 28, the Eagan Advisory Planning Commission approved a 161,000-square-foot store at 995 Blue Gentian Road.

The plans include a retail store with a tire center, a liquor store and a gas station, according to SunThisWeek.

Construction on the new Costco will begin once it receives final approval. The store is slated to open fall 2019, Finance and Commerce reported.

Costco currently has locations in Minneapolis, St. Louis Park, Maple Grove, Eden Prairie, Maplewood, Woodbury, Coon Rapids, Burnsville.
