The Vikings let us all down this year (every year?), so we’ll be enjoying the end-of-season tournament on the sidelines. Gone are the hopes of the glory; in with the reality of letdown. Alas, we must make the best of the unenviable position. To do so, I hit up the Purple PTSD and Vikings Territory writers to help me with a Purple Playoff Prediction Tournament (a.k.a. The Fellowship of the Win). We begin things, fittingly enough, with Super Wild Card Weekend.

Below, you’ll find the game picks from 8 gifted, highly-qualified writers and then my picks. The rules are as follows. Each correct prediction leads to one point. The final game – Cards v. Rams on MNF – has a score prediction, as well. Whoever gets closest to the actual score snags the week’s bonus point. As the weeks progress, the picks will be worth increasingly more points. Next week, each correct pick is worth 1.5 points. We’ll increase things as we go.

The winner will have bragging rights among their fellow writers and a small sliver of temporal glory. Upward and onward for glory!
