Saints Fans Now Claim Vikings' Game-Winning TD Shouldn't Count

EAGAN, MN — While Minnesota Vikings fans are celebrating an incredible overtime victory over New Orleans, Saints fans are claiming the game-winning touchdown should not have counted.

Adam Thielen caught a 43-yard reception from Kirk Cousins in OT before Kyle Rudolph grabbed the 2-yard touchdown pass to seal a 26-20 victory for Minnesota.

Saints fans say Rudolph pushed off before the catch, and should have been called for offensive pass interference.

Several NFL analysts noted that while Rudolph did extend his arms, the pushing was going both ways, and the defenseman never turned his head to find the ball.

Ultimately, no call was made.

New Orleans fans have had to deal with a lot of heartbreak in the past three years. The Saints lost to the Los Angeles Rams on an infamous no-call PI in the playoffs last year. And the year before that, the Minneapolis Miracle happened:

The Vikings will now move on to the divisional round of the playoffs. Minnesota will play the San Francisco 49ers on the road at 3:35 p.m. this Saturday.
