Seeking a Service Mechanic at John Henry Foster in Eagan

General Purpose of the Job:
Work on-site at customer locations to repair compressed air issues including air compressors, blowers and vacuum pumps.  Strong mechanical background with the ability to properly diagnose and solve problems on a variety of compressor systems. Some electrical experience helpful.   Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work closely with customers to resolve issues in a timely manner; exceeding customer expectations and increasing overall customer satisfaction. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with customers to resolve compressed air issues.
• Maintain up to date information related to compressor technology, on-going focus on sharpening mechanical and diagnostic abilities to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to resolve issues.
• Ability to dissemble and assemble compressors in order to fully understand repair issues. 
  
• Understands and abides by safety procedures and policies. 
  Ability to quickly resource information/individuals when needing assistance to complete service call. 
  Work effectively with customer to ensure call meets/exceeds customer expectations.  Willing to go the “extra mile” to exceed customer expectations.
• Proactively promotes John Henry Foster products/parts and services. 
  Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Qualifications, Skills and Education:
Professionally trained in compressed air mechanics helpful and-3 years service repair experience.  Excellent communication and customer service skills.  Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure or deadlines.
