Sick Of Burglaries, Eagan Man Uses Cameras To Catch Suspect
After burglaries made him feel unsafe in his own home, an Eagan man installed several hidden cameras around his house to catch a suspect.

Tired of his home being broken into, an Eagan man decided to install several hidden cameras around his house.
The new technology may have paid off. On Feb. 23, Dr. Ashwin George said he was able to watch a burglary taking place in his own home on his smartphone while he was at work.
George then called Eagan police, who allegedly caught 21-year-old Broderick Droel, of Saint Paul, at his home, WCCO reported:

“That’s the first mistake we all make is like, ‘It’s not going to happen to me,'” George said.
On Wednesday, as crews worked to install a new top-of-the line security system in his Eagan home, George described two months of terror that he and his wife experienced while living in fear of the burglar.
“It was a sense of violation,” George said. “My wife was not able to sleep for so many days.”
