From Streets Alive in Eagan to a Coronation in Inver grove Heights

On Saturday, September 12 we got the privilege to go to the Premium Outlet Mall for Streets Alive and take pictures with little kids! What is Streets Alive you ask? It is an event to raise awareness of the community service throughout Eagan!! We went up to the little kids and asked them “Would you like to take a picture with us?” and if they weren’t sure, we added in that they got to wear a tiara! Eventually they said yes! So we brought them over to the chair where we took the picture. The kids got to choose a prop to hold like in the picture above! So we gathered around the chair and said cheese!!!!!! After that we gave the parents our card and the kids a pencil and if they have an older sister or brother we asked how old they were and told them that they could be us in a few years and we gave them our Eagan Funfest Ambassador card. It was a lot of fun!!! Later that same day, we went to the Inver Grove Heights Coronation! When we got to the Coronation, we took a lot of pictures and talked with the other royalty! Once we got inside the theatre, we saw a bunch of Alice and Wonderland themed decorations and after we got seated, the Candidates and Ambassadors did a dance and introduced themselves. We saw Megan Harwell and Elle Gilbert trying out to become queen! After everything else happened, it was time for the crowning! Little Miss Princess was Scarlet! Little Miss Queen was I think Payton Litz. The Junior Miss Princess was I think Olivia and the Junior Miss Queen was Rachel. The Miss Princess was… Olivia! And the Queen was… Stephanie! I was really happy for them but also sad for Megan and Elle. After we got out of the theatre, we told Elle and Megan that they did a great job!
