Students, Families Make a Difference Through Community Service

K-12 online public school, Minnesota Connections Academy, provides statewide opportunities to gather with peers, families and staff.

Minnesota Connections Academy's Student Council members recently led a field trip for enrolled students and their families to Feed My Starving Children in Eagan. The group packed more than 38,000 meals for children in need.

Field trips, community service events, prom, National Honors Society, student council -- these are just a few of the activities provided by Minnesota Connections Academy that offer students, families and faculty an opportunity to spend time face-to-face. Extra-curricular online opportunities (electives and clubs) are also available for students such as Quiz Bowl, Student Literary Magazine, Arts and Crafts Club, Book Club, Chess Club, Pen Pals, Poetry Corner, Science in the Kitchen, Yearbook and more.

As this school year ends and summer starts, students and their families may be considering a change in the fall. If you're looking for fewer distractions, greater flexibility, more one-on-one time, and a personalized learning pace, an online public school may be an excellent fit. Enrollment is underway and now is the time to explore different options.
