The Lone Ranger Movie is hilarious, a laugh out loud experience.

The Lone Ranger movie is hilarious and I am not sure why it didn't do well in theaters. Maybe the new generation of moviegoers are not sure what the concept of the Lone Ranger was all about.  Our busy summer kept us from attending sooner, but I did want to see how it compared to the old TV series that I remember watching.  We finally found a theater that was still playing it and it turned out to be much more than I expected.  It stayed true to the original script of how the Lone Ranger (Kemosabe) came to be, along with his sidekick Tonto, but in a different way.  It wasn't a serious take on the concept; it was bizarre and funny.  The "goof ups" are crazy and on purpose to get your attention. It was the old time western flick of root'n, toot'n cowboys and Indians, bad guys and good guys, shoot em up and Silver was quite the horse.  The music, of course, included the William Tell Overture and it all ended with the original "HI HO Silver away".  If you are looking for a movie with nudity, raunch, sex and swearing, aliens and end of the world theme, this isn't for you.  This one is rollicking good fun and will surely leave you with a big smile on your face.
