Throwback Thursday: Remember When Eagan Looked Like This?

Were you around Eagan in 1977?

The city of Eagan uploaded the above image of Johnny Cake Ridge Road Thursday on Facebook, and you may observe that the area looks just a tad differently than it does today.

This lovely image of Johnny Cake Ridge Road as it meanders up the hillside amidst the fall foliage is not remarkable...until you realize it is prior to any housing or other development along the roadway. It was taken in 1977, just prior to Eagan's development boom.
