Trinity School At River Ridge In Eagan Names New Head Of School, New Board

EAGAN, MN — Trinity School at River Ridge in Eagan has appointed John Stauble as its new head of school, the Eagan classical Christian school announced this week.

Stauble brings 24 years of experience as a faculty member to the role, and his appointment reflects the school's focus on maintaining its academic standards and Christian culture, according to the announcement.

The leadership change comes as Trinity transitions to operating as an independent corporation led by a newly formed, locally based Board of Trustees.

School leaders say the new structure will give the school more direct governance and a stronger connection to the community it serves.

"As we look forward to celebrating our 40th year as a school next year, we are entering an exciting new chapter for Trinity School at River Ridge," said Tim Wilkin, chair of the Board of Trustees, in the announcement.

"The formation of this local board is a vital step in ensuring the long-term flourishing of our school. With John leading our academic and operational endeavors, we are confident in our ability to provide the stability, continuity, and excellence that our community expects and deserves."

The school says its mission of pursuing truth, goodness and beauty through a classical, Christian education will not change, and it will continue using the same curriculum, pedagogy and faculty standards it was founded on.

"Our number one job as a board is to safeguard the mission and vision of the school," Wilkin added. "We are incredibly grateful for the active support of our parents, alumni and faculty throughout this transition. Together, we are building a sustainable, vibrant future for our students."

The new Board of Trustees includes Wilkin as chair, Dick Stauble as vice chair, Jim Bulger as secretary, Nora Gottwalt as treasurer, and members Jennifer Dunn, Paul Frenz and Hugh Springer.
