VIDEO: Dogs Get First Crack at Off-Leash Dog Park
Eagan held an opening ceremony on Tuesday evening for the city's first off-leash dog park, located in Thresher Fields.

Plenty of dogs were in attendance at the opening ceremony of Eagan's first off-leash dog park on Tuesday evening.
The 6.38-acre park is located within near Thomson Reuters in Eagan. The entire park is fenced, including the lake shore with a gated access to the lake, according to information provided by the city. The park, which will be open year round, also has a designated area set aside for small dogs.

An annual permit and a color-coded collar will be required for entry to the park. Permits for the park can be purchased at the and the Eagan Parks and Recreation Department at , and application forms can be downloaded on the city's website.
