Mendota Heights residents complained about the bright glow from the team's new practice facility in Eagan.

EAGAN, MN — Following complaints from Mendota Heights residents about the nighttime glow, the Minnesota Vikings announced this week they will begin turning off the outdoor lights at the team’s new practice facility in the evenings.

Spokesman Jeff Anderson told the Associated Press the team will keep the lights off between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.

The lights may remain on past 11 p.m. on nights when the facility hosts high school games.
