Visitation Scheduled For Eagan Woman And Her Unborn Son Who Were Killed Last Week

According to her obituary, Senicha Marie​ Lessman lived in two orphanages before coming to the United States when she was 6 years old.

A visitation has been set for the Eagan woman and her unborn son who were killed last week. The visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home, 575 S. Snelling Ave., Saint Paul.

Senicha Marie Lessman was 25-years-old when she died.

According to her obituary, Lessman was born in Bulgaria, where her birth parents had migrated to from Turkey. Senicha lived in two orphanages before coming to the United States when she was 6 years old.

Senicha was adopted by Margi Lessman when she was 9.

"We are devastated at the tragic death of my daughter Senicha and her unborn son," Margi Lessman said in a statement last week.

"She was a loving, kind, smart and beautiful young woman who was very excited to be a mother. She was loved greatly by all of her family, friends and coworkers. We will miss her more than words can say. We are asking for privacy while our family grieves during this difficult time."

Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced last week that Vern Jason Mouelle, 23, of Brooklyn Park, has been charged with one count of murder in the second degree (with intent) and one count of murder of an unborn child in the second degree (with intent) in connection with the deaths of Lessman and her unborn child.
