2015 Wooddale Church Spring Choral Festival & Hymn Sing

Wooddale Church Creative Arts Department presents the Annual Spring Choral Festival and Hymn Sing, Friday, April 24 at 7:30 PM in the Wooddale Church Eden Prairie Worship Center. This concert of sacred choral music and hymn singing features the choirs of Calvary Lutheran Church (Golden Valley), Korean Presbyterian Church of MN (Brooklyn Center), North Heights Lutheran Church (Arden Hills), Salem Covenant Church (New Brighton), and Wooddale Church. Also featured is Woody Johnson on the Visser-Rowland Pipe Organ, and full orchestra. Along with the individual performances of the choirs will be their combined 240 voice mass choir performance of Sing And Not Be Silent arranged by Mary McDonald, Sanctus by Gabriel Faure’ (arr. Rutter), Jesus Saves arranged by Dave Hoehl, It Is Well With My Soul arranged by Bradley Knight and concluding with Immortal, Invisible God by Mary McDonald. The evening concert also includes the singing of great hymns of the faith accompanied by organ and full orchestra. Dave Hoehl, the concert coordinator, says, “This will be a wonderful musical event for the purpose of glorifying God, edifying the body of Christ, and reaching out to our community through the performance of sacred choral literature and the singing of great hymns of the faith.” ADMISSION TO THE CONCERT IS FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE!
