State Patrol officials say his Mercedes lost control from the left shoulder and struck three other vehicles, injuring seven additional people, including two children, with non-life-threatening injuries.

Woman pleads guilty in wrong-way Eden Prairie crash that killed Ukrainian refugee (cbsnews.com) β A driver has pleaded guilty to criminal vehicular homicide for a wrong-way, alcohol-related crash on Highway 212 in Eden Prairie that killed 69-year-old Bohdan Antoniuk earlier this year. Prosecutors say the defendant, a repeat impaired-driving offender, admitted drinking before driving and faces a potential five- to seven-year prison sentence, with restitution, at an October 5 hearing.

5. Eden Prairie legislators react to Boundary Waters order (eplocalnews.org) β Eden Prairie legislators Alex Falconer and Steve Cwodzinski are applauding Gov. Tim Walz's new order blocking state permits for copper-nickel mining near the Boundary Waters, at least through April 2027. They say the move protects a wilderness prized by many Minnesotans, while critics argue it harms northern Minnesota's economy and creates uncertainty for mining projects.
