• Driver charged with felonies after Eden Prairie police pursuit (eplocalnews.org) — An Eden Prairie police traffic stop on Flying Cloud Drive escalated into a 100-mph pursuit that entered oncoming lanes and crossed into Carver County before officers used a PIT maneuver to stop the driver. A 27-year-old man now faces felony fleeing and obstruction charges plus reckless driving, with his next Hennepin County court hearing set for November 12.
   

• Minnesota forum tackles growing anxiety over AI (sctimes.com) — Eden Prairie hosted a southwest metro forum where Minnesota leaders and experts dug into how artificial intelligence could affect jobs, privacy, policing, health care, and even local data centers. Speakers, including Attorney General Keith Ellison and a state Senate candidate, urged stronger safeguards, highlighted new consumer data protections, and discussed reusing data center waste heat in regional energy systems.
