At Least 10 Eden Prairie Residents Present at Boston Marathon
Two explosions rocked the race's finish line at 1:45 p.m. CST Monday.

Two explosions at the Boston Marathon finish line hurt numerous people Monday.
The explosion took place at about 1:45 p.m. three hours after the winners crossed the finish line. As of Monday night, at least three people, including a child, had been killed and more than 100 people were injured.
Hennepin County District Judge Jay Quam of Eden Prairie crossed the finish line about 20 minutes before the explosions.

“You think there’s only so many explanations for that kind of explosion, one of them being a bomb,” Quam told the Star Tribune. “You could feel it. It was like a firework going off.”
