Responding to the Tornadoes

I have been moved by the images of the tornado's aftermath coming from Oklahoma.  The disaster is profound; I stuggle to know how best to respond. 

I can pray for the injured, the displaced, and for the first responders but I can't go to Oklahoma so I feel somewhat powerless. This morning I was reminded that I can support organisations that are at work on the ground with a financial contribution.

I would encourage you to support your faith community's disaster relief efforts, or support an agency of your choice that will meet real needs of people in real need.
