Come on over and meet your neighbors ...meet seed carrying ants that fertilize the forest floor.

Meet nocturnal beetles with luminescent abdominal organs..

. Choose from the bugs, butterflies, beetles and moths that live at the Elizabeth Fries Ellet Interpretive Trail at the Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area in Eden Prairie from the image below and write a poem.

. Get inspired by touring the neighborhoods; there are six in all..Minnesota River, Bottomland Forest, Sedge Meadow, Big Woods, Oak Savanna and Prairie

Take a gander at the names of these critters...

1. Common Milkweed Beetle, Tetraopes tetrophthalmus

2. Ebony Jewelwing damselfly, Calopteryx maculatus

3 Six-spotted Tiger Beetle, Cicindela sexguttata

4. Wood Frog, Lithobates sylvaticus

5. Leech Placobdella ornata, which likes to slurp on turtles (on a turtle plastron)

6. A species of Burying Beetle, Nicrophorus sp.

7. Comma butterfly, Polygonia comma

8. Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, Papilio glaucus

9. Viceroy butterfly, Limenitis archippus
