City of Eden Prairie Publishes Friday Report For March 6

Starting this month, drivers on Flying Cloud Drive between Eden Road and Valley View Road will experience four phases of different traffic impacts – specifically lane reductions and closures – as crews build LRT infrastructure along the northwest side of the roadway. Stop by the City of Eden Prairie's Water Resources booth while you're enjoying the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce Everything Spring Expo to learn more about what the City is doing to manage stormwater and improve our water resources. The expo runs Saturday, March 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Grace Church. Talk with our staff about what the City is doing to manage stormwater and improve our water resources. The expo features more than 100 exhibitors, activities for the kids, free seminars and door prizes. Admission is free.
The City is partnering with Tree Trust to offer large shade trees for sale to residents. Trees purchased through this program range in size from 4–8 feet tall, depending on the species, and must be planted on private property. Tree orders must be picked up at the City's Arbor Day Walk and Green Fair event Saturday, May 2, at Round Lake Park.
