Founded by Deborah Peteler, AnnapurnaBlue offers transformative wellness retreats and programs designed for individuals navigating life transitions, health challenges, emotional overwhelm, and personal reinvention. With over 30 years of experience in trauma-informed care and holistic wellness practices, Deborah blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic approaches to create safe, supportive environments where real healing can take place. Our retreats — held both locally in Minnesota and internationally — are intentionally designed to help participants slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. Through gentle Qigong movement, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, mindset sessions, and meaningful group dialogue, participants gain tools to manage stress, navigate change, and build emotional resilience. AnnapurnaBlue is especially supportive of women ages 35–70+ navigating grief, life-altering illness, menopause, empty nesting, career transitions, and other profound shifts. Rachel Rouse, a senior corporate communication and Spanish for the professions major in the College of Communication received an Academic All Star award from the National Collegiate Water Ski Association (NCWSA). NCSWA recognizes outstanding achievement in the classroom by recognizing students who maintain a term or cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Rouse is from Eden Prairie. Rouse was one of 37 students to receive this award, including six from Marquette University in Milwaukee. NCWSA was founded in 1975 to organize, promote, and direct collegiate water skiing in the United States as a Sports Discipline of USA-WS. The first National competition was held in 1979.
