Eden Prairie Police Participate in Law Enforcement Memorial Day

The officers stood guard at the Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial on Wednesday.

Eden Prairie police took part in ceremonies Wednesday for Minnesota’s Law Enforcement Memorial Day, which honors officers who were killed or injured in the line of duty, according to a post on the Police Department's blog.

The Eden Prairie officers stood guard for 20 minutes at the Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial at the State Capitol. After the guard duty change, they left their posts, rag the memorial bell and said the name of a Minnesota officer who’d been killed in the line of duty.

Officers from across the state took part in the 24-hour vigil.
