Former Owatonna Coach to Head Eden Prairie Wrestling Team

Eden Prairie has selected the national record holder for most victories by a high school coach as its new wrestling coach, the Star Tribune reported Tuesday.
Scot Davis comes to Eden Prairie from Kalispell, MT, where he coached after resigning from Owatonna following a Minnesota State High School League suspension for recruiting.
He was at Owatonna from 1986 through 2011.
During the 2012-13 season, Eden Prairie had 10 wrestlers place in sections and one wrestler place in state—Chase Monger who placed sixth, according to the Eden Prairie wrestling page. Monger received all-state honors. Eden Prairie also had nine all-conference wrestlers and two all-conference honorable mentions.
