Eden Prairie has selected the national record holder for most victories by a high school coach as its new wrestling coach, <a href="http://www.startribune.com/sports/210155591.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the Star Tribune reported Tuesday</a>. Scot Davis comes to Eden Prairie from Kalispell, MT, where he coached after resigning from Owatonna following a <a href="http://www.mshsl.org/mshsl/index.asp" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Minnesota State High School League</a> suspension for recruiting. He was at Owatonna from 1986 through 2011. During the 2012-13 season, Eden Prairie had 10 wrestlers place in sections and one wrestler place in state—Chase Monger who placed sixth, <a href="http://edenprairiewrestling.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to the Eden Prairie wrestling page</a>. Monger received all-state honors.
