Fun Field Trip For Online Public School Students

Students from MTS Minnesota Connections Academy recently visited KidCreate in Eden Prairie.

On a recent field trip, students from MTS Minnesota Connections Academy and their families went to KidCreate Studio in Eden Prairie where students created clay coil pots.

“Field trips are a great opportunity for us to get students together face-to-face,” said Minnesota Connections Academy teacher Brandi Curran, who hosted the event. “They really enjoy meeting after they’ve connected virtually.” MTS Minnesota Connections Academy is a tuition-free, K-12 online public school that students across the state attend from home. Throughout each month, students have the opportunity to attend field trips and community activities which provide students with the opportunity to support their daily courses and socialize with faculty, other students and their families. School information sessions are ongoing.
