iPad Apps and Your Prereader: a Session for Parents and Caregivers

If you have a young child and an iPad, you won't want to miss this free
program presented by Associate Librarian Emily Lloyd at the Eden Prairie
Library. Exploring carefully-selected iPad apps together with your
child can help him or her get ready to read. In this session, intended for adults, not  children, learn how best to choose and explore apps
with your child and the difference between stimulating and mesmerizing
screen time. Discover a generous number of great free iPad apps and how
they tie into the five best things you can do to get your child ready to
read: play together, sing together, read together, write together, and
talk together. Registration recommended, but not required. To register, follow this link: http://www.hclib.org/pub/events/Register.cfm?SessionNo=28408
