Local Real Estate Firm Helped Raise Money for ALS
On Saturday, September 20, agents with WEICHERT, REALTORS® - MN Real Estate Options participated in the Twin Cities Walk to Defeat ALS®.
On Saturday, September 20, agents with WEICHERT, REALTORS® - MN Real Estate Options participated in the Twin Cities Walk to Defeat ALS® at Lake Phalen. They walked as part of the Joe’s Jokers team in support of their friend Joe Smith, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2013. The Walk empowers people with ALS, family, friends, and the community to fight back against a disease that often leaves many feeling powerless.
“The nearly 70-member team of Joe’s Jokers had a goal to raise $10,000,” said Vicki Schwartz, owner and broker of WEICHERT, REALTORS® - MN Real Estate Options. “We’re thrilled to say that our group exceeded that goal and raised over $12,000 in honor of our friend Joe Smith and in support of finding a cure for ALS.”
