New Police Dog, ‘Jace,’ to Join Eden Prairie Police Department

The Eden Prairie Police Department is about to get a new addition to its force.

“Jace” is a 1-year-old German Shepherd assigned to Officer Jenny Schnickel. For the past few weeks, they’ve been at the K-9 school in St. Paul and will be there until mid-May, according to a Police Department blog post.

“Jace’s training is going well and he is a friendly, motivated and happy dog,” the post stated. “The EPPD is looking forward to Jace and Officer Schnickel’s graduation from K-9 school in May and having them working on the streets in Eden Prairie soon!”
