EDEN PRAIRIE, MN (February 11, 2014) – SeQuel Response, a fast growing, full-service direct marketing agency based in Eden Prairie, MN, announced today three promotions that acknowledge key contributions to the company’s marketing strategy, data and operational efforts since it was launched in January of 2010.
Erik Koenig, previously Director of Marketing & Sales, was named Vice President of Marketing and Sales. A marketing graduate from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota, Koenig has been with SeQuel since its inception.
“As SeQuel continues to evolve and grow, there’s an increased need to focus on the overarching marketing strategy and principles we employ with our clients. As VP of Marketing & Sales, it is my responsibility to ensure that our approach remains consistent and effective. I’m excited to continue honing our strategic vision with our current clients as well as bringing SeQuel’s proven model to new prospects through our growing sales team,” Koenig said.

Scott Anderson was elevated from a Director level to Vice President of Database Marketing & Analytics. Anderson possesses a well-rounded 15-year marketing background with stints as a Traffic Coordinator for Carlson Marketing, Acquisition Project Manager for North American Membership Group and a Data Services Manager procuring data for companies such as Washington Mutual Bank & ESPN. His career at SeQuel also began when the company was formed.
“In the past I’ve been focused mainly on data and analytic solutions. I will now have the chance to get more involved in overseeing all aspects of our engagement with some of our key clients, which includes data, creative, production, analytics and marketing strategy,” said Anderson.

Paula Heimerl was promoted to Vice President of Purchasing. With over 20 years in the direct mail business, Paula is an expert at optimizing manufacturing in order to produce the most economic & effective campaigns for SeQuel’s customers. She looks for opportunities to efficiently enhance mail packages while not forsaking postal optimization.
“I’m honored by this promotion. One of my favorite parts of my role is driving financial savings for our clients by leveraging SeQuel’s buying power - and I plan to continue that with my new responsibilities,” Heimerl said.
