Snowboarding in September?

Snowboard, Skateboard and Wakeboard All in One Day at the Twin Cities Action Sports Fest at Grace Church, Eden Prairie, September 7!

August 18, 2014—Edina, MN—Yes it’s true! Action sports enthusiasts’ dreams just came true as they can now snowboard, skateboard and wakeboard all in one day at one location on Sunday, September 7th, 2014 from 10:30am to 4:00pm at Grace Church, 9301 Eden Prairie Rd., Eden Prairie, MN 55347.

This exciting, third-annual, one-of-kind event is sponsored by JSAW and HELP Boardshop, an action sports ministry located in Edina, MN to bring together the Twin Cities action sports community and industry to ride and have fun together.

Amazingly, truckloads of snow will be brought to host the snowpark featuring a drop-in and several rails and boxes to grind on. Wakeboarding will be done on the lake behind Grace Church using high speed winches, a kicker and several sliders, and a full compliment of skate ramps will be brought in for the skateboarding. “This unique combination of action sports events is always so much fun for all the kids to come out and ride,” said Jonny Nelson, JSAW’s Executive Director.

“Each action sports event and park will have a contest throughout the day. At each park, up to $100 cash will be given to riders who work the hardest and land big, creative and stylish tricks within the allotted contest time. It’s like a best trick contest but with more winners, which equals more fun for everyone!” added Nelson. Also present at the festivities with be event sponsors, vendors, shops, parks and industry representatives.

Schedule:

-10:30am Event begins, registration/riding opens (Snowpark opens at noon)

-1pm: Snowboard/Ski Contest

-2pm: Wakeboard/Skate Contest

-3pm: Skateboard Contest
