UNITY DAY AT HENNEPIN TECH
In support of October being National Bullying Prevention Month, Hennepin Tech will be hosting UNITY DAY events.
The events are free and open to the public and will include a Human Library -- a mobile library set up as a space for dialogue and interaction to reduce prejudices, promote tolerance, and encourage understanding. Visitors to a Human Library are given the opportunity to speak informally with “people on loan;” this latter group being extremely varied in age, sex, and cultural background.
UNITY DAY is a day for schools and communities to unite and show their support for students who have been bullied by wearing the color ORANGE.
Please join us as we celebrate UNITY DAY events on OCTOBER 22 and 28 to raise awareness about bullying prevention.
