Vikings Buy Property Next to Winter Park

The team says it has no plans for the property, but the Business Journal speculates that it's paving the way for expansion.

The Minnesota Vikings last month bought a 90,000-square-foot office building next to their Winter Park headquarters and training facility, the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal reported.

The team acquired the fully-leased, single-story office building at 7905 Golden Triangle Dr. for about $10 million, the publication reported.

A Vikings spokesman told the Business Journal that the team doesn’t currently have plans for the site, but the reporter speculated that the Vikings bought it in anticipation of a future expansion.
