Wilderness in the City Excursions at the EFEIT in 2014

Check back for dates and times for these four seasonal outings at the Elizabeth Fries Ellet Interpretive Trail at the Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area in Eden Prairie. EFEIT/RTA

Cynthia Thomas and Yako Meyers- Native American herbalists and authors who specialize in plant and herb education. They will be leading a Wildcrafting workshop and discovery excursion through the EFEIT/RTA.

Kate Havelin-author of more than a dozen books for young people and Best Hikes in the Twin Cities is a Community Outreach organizer for the Mississippi River Fund. She will lead a trailing excursion through the EFEIT/RTA.

Wang Ping-Poet/author, English professor at Macalester College and founder of Kinship of Rivers will lead a poetry workshop and excursion through the EFEIT/RTA.

Minnesota Native Plant Society- We will partner with a member of the MNPS on a joint discovery through the EFIET/RTA focusing on the native plants that live in the diverse biomes within the EFEIT/RTA.
