Woman has $1,000s Stolen During Lunch Meet-Up: Blotter

Thefts
- A resident reported that a rear license plate had been stolen sometime between 3 p.m. Nov. 1 and 11 a.m. Nov. 2. The victim had stopped at Hennepin Technical College and Super America. The incident was one of two license plate thefts reported that week. Police encourage those whose plates are stolen to call officers right away.
- A 22-year-old Chaska woman was caught at 1:22 p.m. Nov. 8 shoplifting Advil and a hairbrush, worth $20 total, from Walmart.
- A man told police at 1:37 p.m. Nov. 4 that someone stole his $300 iPhone 3GS while he was playing racquetball at Fountain Place Apartments. The man took off his coat and left his phone in his pocket. When he retrieved his coat, the phone was missing.
- A 47-year-old woman told police that someone stole her $150 Coach wallet, containing $300 cash and credit cards, sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. She met her friend at Panera Bread for lunch and noticed the wallet missing at 1 p.m. She later learned that someone charged $2,882 to her Visa at Target at 1:58 p.m. Someone also charged $1,700 to her Discover card and $400 to her U.S. Bank Visa at the same store.
