They also advanced a new medical examiner contract, updated solid waste planning through 2036, and set a Sept. 22 public meeting—publicized in the Edgerton Enterprise—on a major proposed PowerOn transmission line.
   

• JCC volleyball sweeps Southwest Minnesota Christian (jacksoncountypilot.com) — Edgerton fans just saw Jackson County Central sweep Southwest Minnesota Christian in a straight-sets volleyball win on the Eagles' home court. The Huskies controlled key runs in all three sets, with strong performances from hitters like Paylin Sether and Paige Benda, and will be back in action again on Thursday, Oct. 1.
