• Witte elected as vice chair of Minnesota Security Services Task Force (hometownsource.com) — Minnesota's new Security Services Task Force, created after last year's attacks on state leaders, has elected Rep. Jeff Witte as vice chair and includes Rep. Julie Greene of Edina among its members. The bipartisan group will recommend how to better protect legislators, with a report due in early 2027 that could shape safety protocols at the Capitol.
